We’ve Been Shortlisted for the FreeFrom Food Awards!

We’re extremely pleased to announce that we have been shortlisted 2017 FreeFrom Food Awards! Two of our popular products have been nominated in separate categories. These are our Thai Green Curry Tofupot and Devonshire Soysages which are shortlisted for the ‘Food to go’ and ‘Veggie Ready Meals’ awards respectively.

The FreeFrom Food Awards have now published the shortlist for their 2017 10th Anniversary Awards. Awards director, Michelle Berriedale-Johnson has said: 

‘The standard of the entries just keeps on getting better. Indeed, so good are they now that ‘freefrom’ foods are often the first choice for foodies who, a few years ago, would not have given them the time of day!’

This year’s shortlist includes:

  1. Artisan gluten and dairy-free bread mix kits 
  2. Beetroot and sweet banana ketchups
  3. Gluten and lactose free protein powders
  4. Fluffy tapioca Yorkshire puddings 
  5. Pastas made from edamame beans, green peas and quinoa and chickpeas
  6. Coconuts in every possible guise
  7. Ostrich sausages
  8. 12 different gluten free beers 
  9. No less than 25 excellent products which exclude all 14 major allergens!
