New Facility Update Edition

Hello Everyone! As you are aware, the Hitchcock Park factory re-fit is well underway. We’d like to take a moment to share with you our excitement over developments at the new site.

The New Tofu Production Line is Finally Here!

All the way from Japan, our new tofu production line has arrived in the UK. Early morning on Wednesday 5th July, the sense of excitement was palpable as a lone lorry pulled up to the site. Three forklift trucks sat on the trailer. These would be instrumental over the next few days as more than forty two crates of machines would be delivered.

No sooner had the fork lift trucks been off loaded than the first of the lorries began to arrive one after another. It was very important that the machines were offloaded in the correct order to prevent too much movement once they had been placed in the factory. The re-fit of the factory has now commenced in readiness for MASETM to install the production line in October 2017.

The Firewall to the Main Corridor

This may look easy but it is far from it. Each piece has to be lifted to the top and then gently persuaded, cajoled and finally nudged into position. It is reminiscent of that old saying how many people does it take to change a light bulb.

‘X’ Marks the Spot!

The Dragonfly team discuss with the Landlord and Western Power, where best to site the new electric sub-station.

What a productive month it has been at Hitchcock Park. Dave and his Coldstore Construction team have done a sterling job erecting the Kingspan paneling. The Tofu Production area is really taking shape.

A heartfelt thank you to all those who have laboured tirelessly over the last few weeks.
